super bowl 2014 live football online game

A report via Ashbury Park Press on Jan. 4 notes that there are a total of 80,000 tickets for the game at MetLife Stadium, and not all of the tickets have been distributed. However, two third party ticket sellers have at least a few tickets available. StubHub had over 2,000 tickets available as of the report, with the starting prices at $3,126.40 per ticket, while NFL Ticket Exchange (partners with Ticketmaster) had 133 tickets for a starting price of $3,120 per ticket. There were 1,000 tickets originally distributed by the NFL at $500 a piece, but fans had to win those in a lottery and they can’t be resold.
Among the factors that will drive demand for the tickets in the coming weeks will be the news involving weather and which teams will play. Examples were given that a team like the Broncos has a large overall fan base and could drive prices up. It’s also noted that if the New England Patriots get into the game, fans typically live close enough to New York area to drive to the stadium. Additionally, as the Super Bowl XLVIII date draws closer, weather reports will be key. Obviously fans aren’t going to want to drive in inclement weather such as a major snow storm, or sit outside in brutally cold temperatures to watch the game. However, if there’s reports of warmer, sunny or clear weather conditions, it could make demand for tickets a bit higher due to the location.
Football fans won’t know those factors for sure until the game date draws closer and the AFC and NFC Championship games produce the two contenders for this year’s Lombardi Trophy. Those games will be played on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. EST for the AFC and 6:30 p.m. EST for the NFC, with the games on CBS and FOX, respectively.
The Super Bowl 2014 date and time will be Sunday, Feb. 2 with kickoff scheduled for 6:25 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on FOX. There will also be Super Bowl live stream online viewing available through the Fox Sports Go site or the mobile app for iOS devices. That live webcast will also include the Super Bowl halftime show with a performance by Bruno Mars.
